The site of Aruba's first church
The small yellow Alto Vista Chapel stands on a hill in Noord, overlooking the north coast. The first church on Aruba was built on this site in 1750; the current chapel dates from 1952.
A path with the Stations of the Cross winds up to the chapel. It is a peaceful place and a popular stop on island tours.
