Aruba's legendary bar in San Nicolas
Charlie's Bar was founded on 18 September 1941 by Charles and Marie Brouns, near the Lago refinery in San Nicolas. More than 80 years later it is still run by the same family, now in its third generation.
Every inch of the walls and ceiling is covered with memorabilia left behind by visitors over the decades: licence plates, helmets, flags and more. Combine a visit with a walk past the street art of San Nicolas.
