The private island with the famous flamingos
Renaissance Island is the private island of the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort, a short water-taxi ride from Oranjestad. Its Flamingo Beach, where flamingos walk among the sunbathers, is one of the most photographed places in Aruba.
Hotel guests have access, but visitors from outside the resort need a day pass. These are very limited, released only a week ahead and sell out quickly.
