Aruba And Its Caribbean Contradictions

Fact: Aruba is a Caribbean island. Another fact: not all Caribbean islands are alike. The notion that all Caribbean islands are similar has given rise to many myths about Aruba, like traveling here can be ridden with risks because you might be hit by a hurricane. That’s not true at all because Aruba is safely removed from the hurricane belt. Another fallacy is that people here only drink Rum. The most famous local cocktail Ariba Aruba is indeed made of rum but also includes crème de banana, Grand Marnier, vodka and coecoei, Aruba’s own unique liquor. Aruba’s local beer Balashi is worth a try too.
