The inhabitants of this beautiful island are absolutely in love with their land and it is probably expressed in everything they do. But there are a few symbols of pride that cannot be overlooked at any point. Papiamento and the National flag give the locals a sense of honor and depict their closeness to the Caribbean Sea. In many ways it is also an ode to their multiculturalism. Their Anthem is sung on many occasions and fills the locals with pride as does the coat of arms, another symbol of the local heritage.
