Aruba Culture
The culture of Aruba is a blend of many cultures and is influenced by many civilizations. Dutch influence can be seen in the culture of Aruba. The people of this island celebrate their National Day on March 18 every year. In the year 1976 the island presented its national flag and anthem, and thus celebrates the day of flag and anthem. Music is an indispensable part of the Aruban culture and is a mix of native African and European elements. Holidays, carnivals and informal celebrations are all incomplete without Aruban music. Though a mixed culture, Aruban people are very friendly and treat their tourists with great hospitality.
