They had the Aruba Goes Green conference one September 29th. It was a much bigger deal that I had realized. They had quite a few powerful people there including Al Gore!
I read a really good news article about Aruba Goes Green. I think this is a monumental year in there fight for a more eco friendly island. They have been building towards it for a long time but they are really doing it now.
I think that it is wonderful to hear that Aruba is making such big leaps and bounds. Some of the new innovative ways they want to utilized renewable resources are just fantastic.
