Are there any mountains or at least hilly places in Aruba? I like to visit hilly places which are generally a bit colder, greener and have fresher air than the lower places.
Aruba has a mountain range located in the center of the mountain. I was once told by a local that if you hike to the top of the highest mountain, Mt Jamanota, you can see the entire island.
Wow, the island even has a mountain range? That's perfect! It sounds a great place to do trekking. Do people usually do trekking in the mountain range especially Mt Jamanota? Are there any trekking agency providing trekking tours to the place?
Do you have to trek through mountains to get there, I have never been trekking before so I am not quite sure what it is. Is there a difference between water and mountain trekking?
