Thinking about what to pack for my Aruba vacation and have no idea how dressy things get in the evening. I plan to be visiting a few bars of course, along with a casino and one of the cabaret shows as well. Ladies out there, please help!

A nice strappy dress will do it, if you are into dresses. It really depends on how nice the function or bar you go to is. There are some really nice ones though.

Seconded. Take a couple of dresses (or smart pants), preferably things you can wash through by hand and wear again and that pack well. if you have a room with a balcony your things will dry quickly enough.

I always pack three nice dresses. They are all easy to rinse through but the styles are different. I like to have one that covers a lot, in case of sunburn or if I go to a real classy place. The others are more suitable for bar hopping. You'll be fine with these plus swimwear, shorts and t-shirts and maybe a wrap for any evening boat trips.

I know the first poster didn't mention shoes but I thought I'd chip in to say don't take a new pair to wear on your trip. My daughter used to do that when she was much younger and always crippled herself. Take a nice dressy pair of sandals that are worn in already.
