For sure, the island celebrates Christmas. During the last month of the year, they have St. Nicolas Day, the Aguinaldo and Gaita. So, are you planning to go there on December? Just check out the site for more information.

In our country, we only celebrate Noche Buena and Christmas. Could you tell me more about St. Nicolas day? Is it a gift giving activity? I haven't read any information about these celebrations in the site.

The Carnival Holiday is like a Mardi Gras. This is the highlight of all the Holidays in Aruba.

I'm quite new to Aruba and I haven't heard much about their holiday celebrations. Is majority of the locals Catholic? If they are then, most probably they spend Christmas.

I believe that majority of the Aruba people are Roman Catholic. I observed that most of the celebrations are in accordance with Christianity. How about the other one? :o And, do they have any other holiday events? I mean, how about from January to February?
