A friend of mine just went to Aruba for 3 days. I'll need to ask her whether the place seemed less crowded. There are still enough people who can afford taking such a vacation, but the bad economy does hit everyone, so I guess it explains lesser amount of tourists.

Without money to spend on leisure, this would definitely be expected. After how many years though, I don't know how long this crisis would last.

Aside from economic crisis, advertisement plays a very important role in tourism. I am from Asia and actually, I am not quite familiar with places in North America. Aruba was introduce to me by a friend and I've search the place on the internet. I think Aruba is really great, so, I suggest you deal with the advertisement, what do you think?
