I would like to go hiking with my friends. Do you think it would be safe to go hiking without being accompanied by the locals? The place is not quite familiar for visitors like us.

I think, it would be fine to bring the kids when hiking. Just be sure to look after them. Can anyone tell me how much would it cost to hire a professional hire? It would be safer if we are accompanied by them.

the tour guides will know the best sites to hike to. i would hire a local guide either way

yeah its best to hire the locals..not an agency or something ..more cheaper i think..

the locals would definitely be more cheaper. you could probably visit better spots as well

I guess it would be better to hire the locals than the professional ones if we go hiking. In a way, we would be able to help them.
