Of course having the internet is a global thing, but having the internet or not can still become a decision that's left up to the government. I'm sure they do some regulating of the internet there, but not to heavily, I hope.

Having internet service is a business, but it still has to be regulated by the federal government. That's not such a nice thought for me who is on the internet most of the day. That's why it's important for me to have fast internet service wherever I go.

Yes, there is. In fact I have read in the net that one of the fastest growing
provider of broadband mobile communication services in the Caribbean
Islands, today announced that it will soon be launching mobile voice,
broadband Internet access and WiMax services in Aruba. They will offer affordable unlimited wireless broadband Internet access and voice plans that include voicemail and unlimited texting. In addition, they will also offer the
fastest wireless Internet connectivity available through its wireless
broadband service.

It makes me so happy when I hear about more and more countries as a whole having good, reliable internet service. Since the technology is so advanced, they don't have to put up with the ancient form of the internet that we had to deal with in its early days.
